Hubs was however slightly less impressed with the uncomfortable Dubai airport loungers that force you to lie down when sat. (at Dubai Airport)
The honeymooning privileges didn’t end at free Toblerone on that flight. They said they had a surprise for us and brought round champagne, cherries and Godiva chocolates (and even apologised that it wasn’t strawberries, bless them!)… Spoiled. Rotten.
They normally just take Polaroids of the kids on the flights apparently, but it would seem they found us a tad adorbs. Lovely Emirates stewardess created this little keepsake for us!
Handholding and the latest Game of Thrones with our beloved headphone splitter en avion. Bliss. Oh hai Edmure Tully and Brynden Blackfish!
Plane food that actually tasted like food - thank you Emirates! Smoked salmon with potato salad, bread and butter, lamb (that you could actually cut) with an olive and tomato crust, little fried potatoes and broccoli, cream cheese, sweet chilli sauce and two kinds of biscuits, topped off with banana and toffee torte. Splode.
Honeymooners apparently get free goody bags with Toblerone, biscuits and playing cards on Emirates flights. Don’t mind if we do! (at Emirates)
My first meal as a wife (and without having to worry about my dress exploding at the ribs) - waffles for breakfast of course! (Not pictured: the sausages, bacon, eggs, ham, chorizo, mushrooms, fruit and pastry I also consumed. I don’t do post-wedding by halves.) (at The Place Apartment Hotel)
First coffee since last week. Come here you sexy caffeinated bastard. (at The Place Apartment Hotel)
